At the Nine Muses

As the sun began to dip toward the horizon, guests gathered at The Nine Muses. A towering, monumental granite sculpture installation that provided a dramatic, gallery like backdrop for their union. A classical string duo played violin and cello, filling the crisp evening air with melody while the low golden hour light cast a magical, nostalgic glow over the sanctuary of stone and trees.

Surrounded by art and nature, Kathryn and Juan Carlo exchanged deeply romantic, tear jerking vows that left hardly a dry eye in the audience.

Where love imitates art

Following portraits, the celebration moved to Rat’s Restaurant, a enchanting culinary haven famously modeled after Claude Monet’s impressionist gardens in Giverny, France. True to their artistic spirits, Kathryn and Juan Carlo handcrafted all of the reception decor and details themselves, infusing every table with personal charm.

The energy inside the reception was electric from start to finish. A deeply moving highlight of the night came when Kathryn’s brother took the floor to perform a song for the couple; his heartfelt vocals and music touched everyone in the room. Afterward, the celebration erupted into a lively, high energy dance party where guests danced with boundless enthusiasm late into the night.

Adding to the sweetness of the evening, Kathryn's mom baked a decadent, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake made specially with love for the newlyweds.
